We have an open family room/kitchen area with a set of French doors in the kitchen, one in the family room and a whole wall of windows with a frame top. There is an 8" separation between the top and bottom windows. The bottom bank of windows have white plantation shutters, height appx 100", then the frame above is not covered at all. I was thinking about putting panels all the way up between each of the windows for a dramatic look, then just put panels at the 105" height on the French doors, all in the same color?

We applaud your drapery bravado. Our suggestion is that you keep the hardware consistent throughout for a uniform look.
