With just a quick conversation about your space and the available inventory, our retailer can send you ready-made curtains to try at home for 48 hours. For custom treatments, we’ll help you select the right fabric, and work from there.

We’ve been in business since 1997, offering our customers a proven way to buy curtains and other window treatments. Whether you live close to a store or hundreds of miles away, we make it possible for you to try out our curtains in your home for 48 hours. You will see how the curtains look during the day and at night. In this way, you will not make a mistake.
Whether you call on the phone or visit one of our stores, you will be greeted by an experienced window coverings expert, someone who understands windows of all shapes and sizes. We want to know how best to help you so we will not only ask about color and style, texture and shape, width and length, but we will talk about linings and interlinings and privacy. In other words, we want to know all about you and your home, your needs and requirements.
Our curtains are made in the USA by our trained and trusted workrooms. Many of our seamstresses have been making our curtains for years. With over 100 in stock styles in most stores and access to 500 other fabrics, our Curtain Exchange stores are ready to help you find the right look.
Many of our fabrics are made exclusively for us. We offer a wide range of linen, silk, cotton, damask, print, sheer and woven fabrics. Our inventories change frequently, and our styles are current including contemporary and traditional styling.
behind The Curtain Exchange: Georgina O’Hara Callan
British born, Georgina brings more than a passing interest in fashion to the table. Her love for fashion and style is what led her to create a company offering custom, handmade curtains.
As the author of two fashion books, including The Thames and Hudson Dictionary of Fashion and Fashion Designers and The Encyclopedia of Fashion, Georgina exhibits a breadth of knowledge regarding fabrics, colors and design. In addition to her writing career, Georgina’s résumé includes her work as an editor for women’s magazines and years spent as an interior designer.
When asked what sets The Curtain Exchange apart from the competition, Georgina replied, “Each store owner and specialist is passionate about curtains, and about their boutique. They are also passionate about helping our customers find the right curtains for the look our customers want in their home.
